My Design Approach.
I believe in both top-notch relationships and top-notch creative design.
I want to build a long-term relationship with you so your needs can be met now and as your business grows.
I help you own your website. That means I show you how things work, and I build your site using web standards—you aren't tied to a proprietary solution. You own your content and website, and can get at it whenever you want.

It's not enough for me to build you a top quality website. I understand the importance of good communication and clear agreements.
I want every one of my customers to have a great experience. Here's how I do it:
- I'll talk with you frequently so you know how things are going, and so I can adjust if you need any changes as we go.
- I'll document what we are building together, and how much it costs clearly and in writing.
- I'll guide you throughout the entire process, beginning to end. I'll educate you on your choices along the way, and de-mystify how things work.
- Building a website is a team game! I'll clarify with you which tasks are yours and which are mine, and work with you so both of us know what we need from each other.
Top-Notch Design.
I place my focus and passion into building just the right site for you. I will build you a unique design that is visually pleasing and easy to use.
Here are just a few of the details I build into every site, to ensure you get a top quality result.
- Code using standard web technologies such as XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Flash and Javascript. Content is separated from look and feel to keep things flexible.
- Test your site thoroughly to ensure proper function on the most common web browsers, on both Windows and Mac OS X. All code is evaluated for adherence to W3C standards.
- Design your site with attention to accessibility standards, so visitors with low vision or physical impairments can use your site more easily.
- Ensure that you own your site by assigning you copyright, and using open-source rather than proprietary technologies where it makes sense. This reduces your risk of depending on a specific technology or company, and keeps your choices open.
